Today I went to the Temple and as I was waiting for my daughter, I saw two brides and their husbands.
In a world where the institution of marriage has been torn apart, stepped upon, ridiculed, and denied, I am grateful to see young couples who are willing to accept the covenant of marriage as it has been outlined in the scriptures.
I wish them the very best. They will have ups and downs, but what is important is their willingness to work through the downs and support each other and enjoy every good moment their married life together will bring.
I am grateful for the institution of marriage.
